Active Nap

What if I told you you could take a nap at work?

Complete physical and mental relaxation. Without snoring, oversleeping or waking up groggy.

Active Nap does just that.

How?

Active Nap is a guided meditation.

It is a mindfulness tool, based on the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra as devised by Swami Satyananda.

Active Nap takes you on a journey through the whole body, releasing tension as you go, exploring breath, images and stories.

The aim is to sink into a deep state of relaxation. T 'zone out' if you like. This gives the mind a much needed rest, time to sort and file, time to let go, time to feel and experience, time to discover.

It is no coincidence that some of the greatest inventions, discoveries and ideas have come about in moments of deep relaxation.

JK Rowling created the whole world of Harry Potter whilst daydreaming on a train.

Archimedes made his breakthrough discovery of displacement in the bath.

What could you achieve if only you gave your mind the space to explore?

The practical bits........

  • This is not hypnosis!

  • You will be lying on your back, clothed and covered by a blanket

  • A typical session is 20-40 minutes long

  • Mini sleeps are perfectly normal!

  • It may take several sessions to allow the mind to quieten. This is normal.

  • You do not have to do anything, just follow the initiators voice.
